A Premium Adventure in the Andes
Explore the spectacular Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain by combining high-octane adventure, absolute comfort, and landscapes of incomparable beauty. This experience is masterfully designed for travelers who want the thrill of riding through the Andes on an ATV—significantly reducing the physical exertion of a traditional hike while enjoying a meticulously organized, top-tier service.
Your journey begins with a private pickup from your Cusco hotel. From there, we will travel south through the valley in our premium tour vehicle, crossing breathtaking high-alpine scenery until we reach the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
Following breakfast, we continue our drive toward Kayrahuire Alto (14,600 ft / 4,450 m), the starting point of our ATV adventure.
Before setting off, your professional guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and a detailed tutorial on operating the ATVs. You will have plenty of time for a practice run on a specially conditioned circuit, ensuring a safe, confident, and smooth ride for everyone.
Once ready, we will embark on an exhilarating one-hour ride along an exclusive ATV route, cruising across vast high-altitude plains framed by spectacular natural vistas.
Throughout the ride, you will enjoy front-row views of the imposing Mt. Ausangate—the highest peak in southern Peru and one of the most revered summits in Andean culture. You will also catch glimpses of roaming herds of alpacas and llamas, alongside local communities that keep their ancestral traditions alive.
Upon reaching the end of the ATV trail, a brief 3-to-5-minute walk brings us to the main viewpoint of the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, one of Peru’s most breathtaking natural wonders.
You will have approximately 40 minutes to take in the landscape, capture stunning photographs, and absorb the majesty of this unique setting, where rich mineral sediments have painted an extraordinary, natural palette of colors.
Afterward, we will ride the ATVs back to meet our private transport and head back to Cusipata, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits.
Finally, we will begin our return trip to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel at the end of a day filled with adventure, nature, and unforgettable memories.
