We will walk up its imposing stone terraces, visit its ancient temples, and wander its cobblestone alleyways while discovering its historical role as a ceremonial, military, and administrative fortress.

Our final destination is Chinchero, known in folklore as the «birthplace of the rainbow» and celebrated as a premier center for master weaving in Cusco.

We will visit a traditional workshop where local women will demonstrate the ancient art of transforming alpaca and sheep wool. You will see the entire process, from hand-spinning to organic dyeing with natural plant pigments and weaving on traditional backstrap looms.
