02:45 AM – Private Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Your private transfer will pick you up directly from your hotel to begin a smooth, comfortable journey to the Ollantaytambo Train Station. The scenic drive through the Andes takes approximately 2 hours.
04:40 AM – Arrival at Ollantaytambo Station
You will arrive with ample time to board your train effortlessly, avoiding rush-hour crowds before heading toward Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes).
Scenic Train Journey: Ollantaytambo ➔ Machu Picchu Town
Travel aboard the Expedition Train service, enjoying panoramic views of the sacred valley landscapes. Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes train station, our dedicated private host will be waiting to greet you and escort you to the Consettur bus station.
Consettur Shuttle Bus: Machu Picchu Town ➔ Citadel Entrance
Board the Consettur bus for a short drive up to the main gate of the Machu Picchu Citadel. At the control checkpoint, you will present your original passport and official entrance ticket to begin your visit.
Private Guided Tour of Machu Picchu – Circuit 3
Enjoy an exclusive, private guided tour with an expert local guide (approx. 2 to 2.5 hours). You will explore the rich history, ancient architecture, and main iconic highlights of Circuit 3 at your own relaxed pace.
After completing your guided visit, you will take the Consettur shuttle bus back down to Machu Picchu Town.
Lunch & Free Time in Machu Picchu Town
Enjoy free time to savor local cuisine, explore the artisan market, or relax before your train back.

Option 1: 1:37 PM Train (Via Ollantaytambo)
1:37 PM: Train departs Machu Picchu Town, arriving in Ollantaytambo at 3:10 PM.
Private Transfer: Your driver will meet you upon arrival at the station for a seamless private transfer back to your Cusco hotel (1.5 to 2 hours drive).
Estimated Arrival in Cusco: Around 5:30 PM.
Optional Cultural Experience in Cusco:
Arriving early allows you to complement your day with a visit to the Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo (entrance ticket not included), featuring live traditional Andean music and folklore dances (19:00 to 20:00 hrs; arriving 30 minutes early recommended). Afterward, enjoy a relaxed dinner around Cusco’s historic Plaza de Armas.
Option 2: 3:20 PM Train (Via Poroy Station)
3:20 PM: Train departs Machu Picchu Town, arriving directly at Poroy Train Station (located much closer to Cusco) at 7:05 PM.
Private Transfer: Our private driver will meet you at Poroy for a quick, direct transfer to your hotel.
Estimated Arrival in Cusco: Around 8:00 PM.
Note: With this train option, you won’t have enough time for the Centro Qosqo show, but you can enjoy an unhurried, comfortable dinner in Cusco.
